Optimists Tables Update 21/10/21

Firstly, a reminder that if you are unfamiliar with these, my explanation can be found at

https://ralphsbiscuits.wordpress.com/2021/03/19/lockdown-living-optimists-league-tables/

I have prepared these tables at 11:00 on Thursday 21st October

The Championship Teams have all played a similar number games so there is no point in publishing these, likewise, the League 2 teams have all played the same number of matches, save for two.

League One and the National League have the largest difference between games played.

The Optimists Tables shown are for entertainment purposes only and by visiting this blog, you understand that some errors may occur during their preparation and that the writer accepts no responsibility for any usage other than their illustration for entertainment on these pages.

The Optimists Tables are compiled from the point of view of illustrating the team supported and the maximum points they could achieve. Their relative position is shown against all the other teams doing exactly the samesomething which in reality will not be possible as teams have to play each other!

League One

As a fan of Plymouth Argyle, it gives me no pleasure to publish this, but I am delighted with our current form, long may it continue!

Vanarama National League

Grimsby at the top which ever way you look at it. Soon be off to Kidderminster in the FA Cup first round proper. I can never understand why those matches aren’t scheduled to take place over the November International (BORING) Break. Surely these clubs that need the attention would greatly benefit?

I have prepared these tables at 14:00 on Friday 1st October

The Championship Teams have all played 10 games so there is no point in publishing these and the League 2 teams have all played 9 matches, save for two. Bradford and Rochdale have identical Points, Goal Difference and Goals Scored.

League One and the National League have the largest difference between games played and with another International Break looming (YAWN!) League One could be affected once again.

Vanarama National League

The more interesting of the three as the number of games ranges from 6 to 9

League One

A better look for some of the South Yorkshire teams

League Two

Only two sides on eight games, the rest on nine

Optimist’s Tables – A New Season

Firstly if you have not read my explanatory post about what these are, please read my blog post at:

https://ralphsbiscuits.wordpress.com/2021/03/19/lockdown-living-optimists-league-tables/

With The Championship teams all on the same number of games as of this morning, I can turn attention to a new addition, the Vanarama National League. Here there is already a significant difference in the games played.

All tables complied at 11 am 24 September 2021

In League One and League Two there is only a small difference between games played, but I’m sure Sheffield Wednesday fans would like the look of the table.
